Learn about the two modes of thinking and how they can help you focus.
Our brains work differently depending on how we use our attention. Roughly speaking, we can divide our activity into two basic modes:
Focused mode
- Intense and focused attention on a single issue or a whole.
- The neural networks associated with the subject being learned are used more intensively as the brain concentrates its capacities on specific areas.
- Limited communication between brain regions, with the predominantly frontal lobe active.
- For example, intensive study.
